Benjamin Franklin Don’t handicap your children by making their lives easy. Robert A. Heinlein -GOOD TEACHING- Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn. Benjamin Franklin Example is not the main thing in influencing others. It is the only thing. Helen Keller -HABITS- Habit is a cable; we weave a thread of it each day, and at last we cannot break it. Horace Mann Refrain tonight, and that shall lend a hand of easiness to the next abstinence; the next more easy; for use can almost change the stamp of nature, and either curb the devil, or throw him out with wondrous potency. William Shakespeare We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act but a habit. Aristotle The things men believe in are the things they do. Joseph Smith -ENEMIES- I destroy my enemies when I make them my friends. Horace Mann When two agree, one is unnecessary. Learn to value the differences. Steven Covey Human nature is so constituted that if we take absolutely no notice of anger or abuse, the person indulging in it will soon weary of it and stop... Schumacher To lengthen thy life, lessen thy meals. Benjamin Franklin Sometimes when I consider what tremendous consequences come from little things, I am tempted to think there are no little things. Bruce Barton". More about Todd:"Currently I spread my time between several activities. 1) Performing really interesting, privately-funded research in Neuroscience at the University of Lethbridge. 2) Operating a popular summer river recreation business I founded with my children in 2009. 3) Building what is for me a dream 'biohome' - a house that actually has an full ecosystem inside of it and produces its own heat, food, and plenty of fun for up to 6 people year round. 4) Last but certainly not least enjoying my wonderful family and friends. Have been a single parent for several years now, and among my highlights are those times when I spend time with my children. I will likely settle down with someone special in the future but I am in no hurry. I love anything to do with the water and sun. I love new challenge - pursuing something that stretches me. Both with my kids and my friends I enjoy outdoor activities in their season including tennis, camping, fishing, along with water and snow activities. For 'me time', I love going to the gym on most weekdays and try to make time for daily meditation. My children love animals and nature so we go on walks, visit pet stores, horseback ride, play games, see movies, go to out to eat, the library, do scout badges, have family dances and enjoy attending one of the children’s dance, music, sports or other events. I love to goof around making home movies, interact with children and the elderly, and take photos of my loved ones and friends. I also have a great love for music and dancing of almost all types. I am good at spontaneous travel domestically or abroad. Although I currently live in Canada. When I have completed my research here, I will return to Arizona, planning to teach and do further research in behavioral neuroscience.".
