Todd's Story
Life
After high school, the years I had most of my unmet crushes, I attended college in Florida before moving back to NY and getting my degree from SUNY Stony Brook. Most of my free time was spent at either the school TV or radio station. I did technical work and a bunch of writing along with newscasting. Met my future ex-wife in Manhattan while I was a magazine publisher's assistant. Tired of the cold weather, we moved to Florida where I couldn't find a job and ended up delivering Domino's Pizza before actually managing a DP. Certainly not the same pizza as a New York pizza. I don't think any pizza other than slices in New York should be considered pizza. Was always writing while working and got a job at the local PBS station. Ended up working on a graphics machine ...Expand for more
and started working in sports. Got lucky, made great connections and was fortunate to have some abilities. Began traveling a bit with the NY Yankees TV crew. Through my career was hired to do the graphics on 2 World Series, 4 Pro Bowls, the Women's Soccer World Cup, NBA on TNT, 2 NBA All-Star Games, X-Games and more. In 1997, was awarded a National Sports Emmy as part of the X-Games technical team. Nominated for three more Emmy Awards in 2005 (for 2004). Lately, I've worked on So You Think You Can Dance and Grease, You're the One that I Want. Last year, I developed Cheeracise, a hip-hop, dance cardio fitness program based on professional cheerdancing. Presently proposed to air on television along with 2 video series. Maybe one of these days people will hear about it.
