Todd's Story
Life
I have lived most of my life in Clovis, NM. I married Stephanie (Stratton) in 1987 and we have two beautiful girls. Haley is 17 years old and Jenna is 15. Haley was born with Down Syndrome and she has been a real blessing to our family. She is like Will Rogers...never meets a person she doesn't like. Stephanie and I had career changes 12 years ago. I took a job with Edward Jones and Stephanie left her job as alumni director at Eastern New Mexico University and joined Clovis Community College. We moved to Fort Collins, Colorado for about 13 months (started selling investments right after 9/11). are glad to be home. We both spend much of our time with our children, our jobs and our community.
School
I have great memories of school in Clovis. Many of the teachers I had still live in Clovis. I learned alot about character from teachers and coaches like J.E. Williams and Roberta Lansford. I cannot believe it has been 35 years since we graduated from high school. I listen to the oldies radio station alot and many of the songs from the 70's take me back to Clovis High School.
Work
In 1981 I joined First National Bank in Clovis. I literally started from the ground up and ended my banking career as a Vice-President (commercial and agriculture loan officer). In 2001, I started a new career with Edward Jones Investments.
