Todd's Story
Life
As most of you are aware, I dropped out of high school in 1987. I had a difference of opinion with my parents and neither of us was willing to change. So, I decided to join the Navy and become a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer. I did a lot of much needed growing up in the Navy and I was able to see the world at the same time. Early in my naval career, I met my wife Donna of 21 years. For the first three years of marriage,Donna and I spent a good deal of time traveling. In 1991 our daughter Olivia was born. She was originally going to be our only child but we really wanted a son. So, in 2004 we received our second daughter Sydney. No boy during round two, so we tried again and finally had our little man Gavin. I have retired for the Navy after 20 years and now reside with the family in Chattanooga, TN on Signal Mountain and only four short blocks from the in-laws. My wife Donna is the Assistant Director of Nursing for Alexian Brothers on Signal Mountain and I am a Nuclear Refueling Specialist with Are...Expand for more

School
I know that I didn't graduate with all of you but these were my high school years and they are the only ones I have. I had a great time at Mount Vernon and miss everyone.
College
I have attended colleges all over the U.S. I didn't really become serious about my education until 2000. I graduated from Park University this year with a B.S. in Human Resource Management. I am currently a Graduate student at the University Of Memphis- Go Tigers Go!.
Workplace
I am employed with Areva Nuclear Power as a Nuclear Refueling Specialist.
Military
I joined the military due to personality conflicts with my new step-father. It seemed to be the most sensible option and I ended up dropping out of high school to enlist. I flew over 3000 flight hours as a door gunner and rescue swimmer. I have completed four long cruises and two tours overseas. One in the Middle East and one in Italy (excellent). There aren't very many countries I haven't visited and I wouldn't trade the experience for anything.
