Life I was born in 1970 when my father worked for the Indian Health Services in Warm Springs, Oregon. We moved to Santa Rosa, CA for my father's family practice residency from 1971-1972. We moved to Mason City, Iowa where my father did his surgical residency from 1973-1974. In the summer of 1974 we moved to Madras, OR when my father joined Madras Medical Group and also became the local general surgeon. I went to Metolius Elem for Kindergarten, because of where we lived. I went to Madras schools 1st-8th grade. My parents seperated in 1983 and I moved to Portland for my freshman year and attended David Douglas High School. At Christmas during my freshman year, I moved back to Madras. My parents' divorce became final in 1985. They both remarried at the end of 1985. I lived in Madras for 1/2 my freshman and my entire sophomore year. I moved back to Portland to live with my mom and step-father Emmett for my junior year, and returned to David Douglas. My senior year of high school, my step-father was transferred to Idaho Falls, ID... so I moved with them and graduated from Skyline High School in May of 1988. I always returned to Madras to spend my summer's with my Dad and step-mom Beth Ann and my other siblings. My parents are Bud & Beth Ann Beamer and Emmett & Linda Shortreed. My siblings are Todd, Jordan, Jennie and Abigail Beamer. Todd, Jennie and I are the children of Bud and Linda. Jordan and Abigail are the children of Bud and Beth Ann.
