Tom's Story
Life
I've been here in NM since high school: studied theatre at UNM, performed and taught folk music on guitar and banjo in a variety of settings...old-timey Appalachian string bands to solo singer- songwriter original material with three CDs. My latest two CDs, Borrowed Car '98 and Sweet Nell '02 got national distribution and radio play here and in Europe. ntenance and artist-in residence for the state of NM. Lots of interesting travel with the music, an occasional play, playing banjo in movies, teaching guitar and banjo out of my house and all of those other jobs have kept me hoppin' all these many years. My latest of new things to do is to host Acoustic Explorations, a folk music program on KSFR Radio FM 90.7 the 2nd Thursday night of the month from 7:30 to 10:00 PM. Tune in!!
