Tom's Story
Tom's schools include Wheaton North High School. Tom later attended Ferris State University (BS in Pharmacy). He then went on to Medical School at CCOM in Chicago, IL. He then matched in a surgical residency program at Sinai Hospital Detroit, MI with plans to be a cardio thoracic surgeon . Realizing the future of medicine he switched to internal medicine and did his residency and chief residency at Sinai. He continued his training in a fellowship in Cardiovascular diseases at Michael Reese Hospital, Chicago IL and completed his fellowship and Chief Fellowship at the University of Chicago affiliate hospital Lutheran General, Park Ridge IL. apids, MI where he established western Michigan's Heart Failure Program at Butterworth hospital as well as worked in a private cardiology group. After a few years he chose to move to Sarasota FL where he established and directed Sarasota Memorials Heart Failure and Transplant program in association with The University of Florida, Tampa General Hospital, Tampa FL. He also worked with a primary care group of 20 physicians and grew the practice to a 68 physician multispecialty group. After 10 years he chose to go into private cardiology practice by himself. In 2014 after a life altering personal medical illness he transitioned his practice into "Concierge" medicine and has done that ever since.
