Tom's Story
Life
Since I saw any of you, 4 years in the Marine Corps, (with Jamie), 10 years traveling the world, 1 wife of 15 years from Australia, now ex; 1 beautiful daughter now in College in Switzerland where her mother and I met. Got my AA at Merritt College in 72, (sound like an old miner), BA at San Francisco State, English in 74, MA in French Langage and Lit at the University of Nice in 76, my Ph.D. in English in England, of all places, in 94. Except for the odd jaunt somewhere, and to finish and present my dissertation in England, have been living in Seattle since 78. g company for 15 years and have been teaching for the past 7. Have a 72 Lotus Super 7 which I bought new, except it now has an all aluminum V8, in a 980 lb. car, ridiculous. Also a 2002 Mercedes, an 84 T-Bird I keep for my daughter, a 67 Step Van I have converted into a camper. Wow all that car stuff, just like Berkeley and Mels, where's Galand Rauls when you need him? I'm happy, healthy, still way oversexed and glad of it; and love the memories I have of so many of you. I think this sounds boring. Oh well it's 8:00 AM and I have been up all night grading final summer school essays, yuk. Love to all of you who know who you are.
