This Border Patrol Checkpoint is (I guess "semi-permanently") set up about 100 miles SW of El Paso, TX. They had the big trucks going to the right for the MRE (Maximum Rectal Exam) machine for the truck and truckers, and
This is a pano of two photos of the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, NM. I had to do some tricks to take out some barrel distortion and it's not perfect, but you get the idea!
A frame from a phone video shows some of the fire that blossomed at the muzzle a microsecond after the bullet left the barrel.
..and a fraction of a second after the shot, the empty can be seen near the right edge of the photo.
Maybe I'm not very observant, but I have never seen one of these guys before I took the photo a couple days ago, on our back yard fence in Little Elm.
