Life As of February 26, 2019: Now living in the Jacksonville-St. Augustine, FL, area! Still working as a consultant helping big and small companies that want to do business with the Federal Government. Also, driving for Lyft & Uber for fun!. My son and his family (including almost 12 1/2-year old granddaughter) live in Ft. Lauderdale. My daughter and her family (including almost 13-year old and almost 10 1/2-year old granddaughter) live in Tacoma, WA, area. Trying to visit each of them about once a quarter. My step-daughter is lives in Raleigh, NC, and works for Epic Games.. Oceana '68ers visiting Jax-St. Augustine area, please let me know so we may get together and catch up.... Have a great remainder of 2019! ------------------------------------------ As of January 1, 2010: Well, business has picked up. Seems that a lot of companies want to do business with the government. Am up to seven clients, mainly small businesses, in fields from IT to XLERATOR hand dryers to Architectural Design & Engineering. They all want to offer their goods and services to the government and I'm having fun helping them to do so.... Went out to Seattle area last week to spend a few days with two of my three granddaughters (3 1/2 and 1). Had a great time. The door is still open if any of you Oceana '68'ers come to the Washington, DC, area. Would be a great visit in 2010. Happy New Year! Tom ------------------------------------- As of August 1, 2009: I returned to the Pentagon in July 2008 when I became the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Reserve Affairs. Spent almost 10 months in the job overseeing the Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, and Civil Air Patrol.
