Life
Currently living in a condo along a golf course near Toledo.
Married for 31 -years. 7-kids, twice as many grandkids.
School
Navy communications school out of high school, taught commuications at Ohio State Branch, Lima, Ohio, while employed by Clear Channel Broadcasting.
Workplace
Formerly employed by Clear Channel Broadcasting. News Director and northwest Ohio bureau Chief of Clear Channel Radio Network Toledo. My newscasts aired on four stations in Toledo and 16 others in north...Expand for more
west Ohio daily, and on the nationwide network based out of Chicago Retired from Clear Channel and retired as host of morning show on WTOD.
Military
U-S Navy, 1960-1966. Served on a destroyer, sub-tender, a landing craft (dispatched to land in Cuba during the missle crisis in the same squardron with John McCain) then finished up at base communications in Little Creek, Va. Last deployed on USS Kearsarge, on broadcast journalist assignment, returning from Iraq, in June of 2003. Nice ride.
