March 28, 2022 granddaughter is now 2yrs old. Our youngest daughter has bought a house and is moving back to the west coast (yay!) Kathy has retired but is now consulting - almost as much work as before but without the travel. I'm finding the covid quarantining to be very similar to retirement. I really feel it for the young people. I can only imagine I'd be terrible at quarantining if I was in my 20's. I can't believe how lucky we were to get the trip last years (Kathy and I were able to do a trip to Venice and the Dalmatian Coast in October. A small ship (80 passengers, 90 crew) and every where we went they all said "usually it's so crowded... elbow to elbow mobs of tourists. It was practically deserted. I loved it. Dubrovnik. It was wonderful. I'm fascinated by old, walled in medieval towns. One port town we visited said we were on the 6th ship to visit this year. They usually had over 600! wow. 1% of their usual business.) It's been tough all over but it seems like a lot of people are "over it" even if it is not over them..
