Tom's Story
If any inquiring minds want to know.
I live in the Jennings Lodge area in the same place I've been since 1972. I'm still self employed as a door hanger weatherstripper hardware expert guy and have been since 1976 although I started in 72 working for someone else.
I guess I haven't changed much in appearance. One day last fall (07) I was standing beside my truck over in Raleigh Hills when someone driving by slammed on their brakes and out jumps John Richardson. He recognized me after all these years.
My S.O. , Mary and I have been together for 8 years. We have 2 cats and we're pretty Liberal, politics wise, if I can still get away with saying "Liberal" since it's become a dirty word.
For fun I still ride motorcycles. Windsurfing in the Gorge is what I like to do more than anything. Been doing that since 1988. Haven't been skiing or snowboarding for several years now. Hardy DiCenzo and I had a lot of goo...Expand for more
d times at Mt. Hood and Bend back in the day.
I'm also into high performance boating. We still lease the beachfront property at Peach Cove Rd. on the Willamette River. We're always playing with the motor and props trying to get a little more speed or better handling.
I Hope everyone's doing well. Looking forward to seeing people at the next reunion. I like the idea of a combined reunion. I hear they need to do that to get a decent sized crowd once we get to be old farts. In 06? they had one for the class of 71? at Willamette Park and 1970 was included. I was going to go but since it was about 100 degrees I decided to stay at the river.
I'm in the yellow pages under Doors Repair and also Weather Stripping Contractors if you need help with that kind of thing.
Don't forget to forget about signing the guest book. I'm not signing up for the permanent upgrade. Use the bulletin board or the E mail.
Thanks
Tom
