Tom's Story
Four years at Randolph-Macon College, majoring in biology. NCAA College Division II Co-National Football Champs 1969. Lambda Chi Alpha social fraternity. Thirty years an officer of Marines, Vietnam and 30 other countries. Then 15 years an algebra and marine biology teacher at Oscar Smith HS in Chesapeake. Happily married to the former Jean Marie Robbins of Altavista, Virginia, a Longwood alum, since June of 1972. Two fine sons, Owen, 40, and Jesse, 38. Three grandchildren, Chloe Sage Harleman, 17, Logan Strider Harleman, 5, and Wyatt Archer Harleman, 1..
Now twice-retired, but active writing, golfing, and maintaining our home in Virginia Beach.
