Tom's Story

Life Hmm...Life Bio.....sounds almost like an obituary. I graduated West Liberty State College in 1979 with a degree in Commercial Art...worked in Wheeling area until 1982.. when I moved to south FL. Lived and worked in Graphics field for 23 years there.. moved to western NC with Gloria, long time GF, in 2006, bought a house and everything. I am amazed how much this area resembles Wheeling...only warmer. The people here are amazingly friendly and polite. I am now working at Target...Expand for more
and building a happy life here. I don't get back to Wheeling much since my parents died, tho I think about it once in a while. I enjoy building things with wood, playing my keyboard and guitar, and quiet nights in our screened-in porch in the back (the squirrels can't hit me with acorns now when I play my guitar back there). We have great neighbors that have really helped our transition from the wild world of south FL to a sane place to live. Gloria passed away August 8th, 2010.

This is what I woke up to today, Nov. 1. at 7am....about 3 inches. There was no snow on the ground at 10pm last night!..when I turned off the outside lights. Happy Hallosnoween!
R.I.P. Leigh Anne
I decided to put on my clown face for Practice session Halloween night... for our gig Saturday night. Great session. Only thing missing was some seltzer water or a big shaving cream pie in my face....lol.
