Tomi's Story
Wow, Over 22 yrs now. Well, I am now married to Stephen Pintler who is a manager/engineer of a railroad located in Kettle Falls, WA. He has worked for the railroad since he was 18yrs. old and is now going on his 30yr. retirement. We are now going on our 6th. year of marriage. The anniversary is in August. I have 3 kids, all teenagers now. 2 boys; 15 and 18 and one girl; 13. I live in Liberty Lake, WA. It's a very beautiful town yet growing steadily. I work at the Spokane Valley Mall, at JC Penneys in the womens dept. and love it alot. I have always been an out going person and this job gives me the opportunity to do that. A couple of years ago, my husband went through some sort of "Mid-life crisis" and bought himself a new Harley Davidson. We now go on rides whenever we get the chance; however, that can be a little difficult when we both have to work. When we do get the chance to ride we totally enjoy ourselves. berty Lake, because our town was so small, we never had a bus that ran on the weekends. Having epilepsy and being unable to drive, I have to take the city bus to get to a lot of places, especially work. Well, I went on a mission. I sent Emails and letters to very important people who were involved with our town and people who are involved with the STA, letting them know the importance of the transportation in our town, especially since it is growing so fast. Well to make a long story short, we are going to be having a city bus run through our town starting in Sept. The mayor of Liberty Lake, let me know that this wouldn't have happened if I had not started this. I am very proud of myself for doing this and am now working on a few more missions. I need to keep myself busy and doing things like this really helps. I have already been in touch with some old classmates and have had fun remenissing.
