Tommy's Story
Life
I am now the Pastor of a church after being employed for 32 years and 10 months at Natiional Steel and being blessed to retire. Two years later I was hired by JP Morgan Chase as a Staff Trade Analyst. I worked there for another six years and then retired again. The ministry keeps me very busy I am married to a wonderful woman and God has been good to me! College
I returned to college to complete my degree as a middle aged student. Upon returning,I was encouraged by another student who returned to school when she was 51 years old. My goal was mainly to accomplish the degree (self satisfaction). Learning became very meaningful when I went for that reason. This was also an encouragement for my children to see me study and receive my degree. I also valued the interesting people that I met.
