Tommy's Story
I'm just a guy who cared about his friends, just average looking, and didn't try to be anything more than who I was. Kind of shy and usually a loner. Had a small group of very close friends, but friendly to everyone. Always willing to talk and listen. Always tried to find real beauty in everything. Never judged on appearance,as beauty is never more than skin deep. Always treated people the way I hoped they would treat me, and with the same consideration and respect.
Had very little use for show offs, or conciet. Made no difference whether you were rich or poor, you were human and thats all that mattered.
I was never a real popular person, or a standout, never tried to be, or wanted to be,just wanted to be me, and accepted as such. Totally the sentimental type, at all times...Expand for more
, and still am. Loved the Good Ole Days, and would love to go back to them, for good. Didn't live in a very nice house, or wear very nice clothes, and was constantly reminded of it, by most of the kids at school. Thats life. Holding a grudge, is like holding a snake...if you hold it
long enough, it will end up biting you.
Was in supervision at NATCO, in Richmond, and built Missles for Lckheed/Martin
in Ocala Florida. Live in Florida, but would rather live back in good ole Richmond. You never really know how
important your home town is to you, until you leave it. You can go back, but it's never the same.
There are those that will say Richmond is a dying town, with nothing to offer, to them, I will say, leave good old
Richmond for awhile, then say you don't miss it.
