Tonja's Story
Life
I was divorced with 2 boys for 13 years. Both of them are married and the oldest has two beautiful kiddos. I just last year married my soul mate Dan and am coming full circle building back home.
I've lived in Spain, South Carolina, Oklahoma and back in Texas.
I have volunteered in the youth dept. in church (senior girls). I go on youth camp trips and have worked with a group of Volunteer Christian Builders at least one week out of every year. I also volunteer in a singing group for The Walk to Emmaus community where I live.
Life is good so far and God is better. Would love to hear from anyone from C'burg.
School
Most of you will remember me as head cheerleader and lead in a couple of one act plays. I was also on the drill team, annual staff and the newspaper (Cat Chatter). That's what it was called in my day. My b...Expand for more
iggest crush in school was Mark Gunter but we never went out.
My favorite teachers in school were Mrs. Hassell (Family Living), Mrs. Murrel (4th grade), Coach Hall (Geometry), Lisa Chandler (cheerleader sponsor), Robin Wright (drama/English), Coach T, and Ms. Davis my typing, business math, business law teacher.
Overall it was a lot of fun. Some things are worth remembering and some aren't. But isn't it that way for everyone?
Now after all these years, I finally have my associates in business from the University of Phoenix online. Still not sure what I want to be when I grow up:)
Workplace
I've had several jobs since high school. I work for a major insurance company now and am enjoying it so far. I'm an Independent Mary Kay Beauty Consultant working toward being a Sales Director. I also have a cosmetology license in Texas.
