Tonja's Story
Life
Looking forward to snow skiing this winter. I play coed soccer on Sundays. And sometimes I find time to play golf, softball, kickball, tennis and ultimate frisbee. My family goes to the lake still to water ski and wakeboard. I ran the Honolulu marathon in 2001. Did the 2006 Denver Marathon as a relay team with my friends. I really enjoy living in Colorado still (even with all this snow). I miss living down in Durango and the mountain lifestyle. It is amazing how small Denver really is. I have never been married. I am not sure why? Maybe it is the 3rd eye that I have. :) I don't have any children that I know of. I am a proud Aunt to my 8 year old nephew and 5 year old niece; they are just wonderful. And I have another nephew on the way spring of 2007. I am happy to say that I have met some great people along the way and I've had lots of great life experiences thus far. Hoping to travel more in the near future. Being on this site it makes me a little sad that house I grew up in does not exist anymore. But Wheat...Expand for more
Ridge does have a nice elementary and middle school now.
School
I was in a store late one night this past summer and saw a group of high school girls buying cases of toilet paper. It reminded me of the end of my sophomore year and all the TPing we did. Oh the good old days when I used toilet paper to decorate someone's trees/yard/house as a joke or because there is nothing better to do. Really hated the early weekend mornings when my dad had me outside cleaing up every single piece of TP from his yard.
College
Oh life in Durango was great. Lots of fun friends. Laughs. Adventures to Lake Powell. Pictures. Halloween. I miss having quick access to mnt. bike rides and skiing.
Workplace
I had a great experience working at JDE. I had several amazing co-workers. I learned a ton about working in the real world there and cubical life. My sales career has been a fun chapter. Plus it gave me access to my dream of being able to drive a zamboni!
Military
Nope, but I do appreciate those that do protect us. THANKS
