The past has taught me to take things slow. Don't be in too big of a rush. Be laid back somewhat and try to take things as they come. If it's God's will, it will happen.

To me, being a Christian means accepting Jesus as my Saviour and living every day as much like Him as possible. Christian comes from Christ, although the word is not in the Bible.

In five years, I see myself
My life is always in a state of expectancy. Job-wise I'm in my second career and I plan to continue working in the hospitality field for the foreseeable future. I've been with my company part-time for over 6 years. All my family live close and I look forward to watching all the little ones grow and change. If God wills, the main change would be marriage and the joy that comes from that change in my life.

One final thing I'd like to mention...
I think one never knows another person except with time. My greatest hope and prayer is to meet someone that is a genuine Christian. Although I've never been married, I believe I have an intuitive sense of others and have observed married family and friends all my life. I feel I have much love to give to the right person.
