Tony's Story
Life
I am married to the former Sherry Robey (21 years-May,2001). We have a 12 year old son named David. He is a 6th grader in the Pinson school system. I am currently working for ADAC Laboratories as a field service rep. I repair and maintain our nuclear medicine line of equipment. Sherry is a housewife and homemaker. She is heavily involved as a PTA officer at our school as well as the county and state levels. She is also very big into tennis. She is currently playing USTA winter league tennis in the 3.0 division. Although I work for ADAC, I consider this just a means to finance what I'm truely passionate about... serving God. I have been involved in many ministries over the past 25 years. I was recently ordained into the ministry on Jan.7, 2001. I have been involved in several inner city ministries over the past 15 years and I now have a prison ministry with the AL. Department of Youth Corrections. We have been going into youth detention centers and rehab centers for the past 8 ye...Expand for more
ars where we perform a play based on the Ray Boltz song "WATCH THE LAMB". It is a very powerful drama that depicts Christ's crucifixtion. We have seen hundreds of young men and women come to Christ through the efforts of this ministry. I am also the co-director of the Southeastern Youth Camp. It is an inner-denominational Christian youth and childrens camp. I am director of the 9-12 year age group and a friend of mine (Boyce Smith) is the director of the 13-19 year age group. We hold a week long camp at Cook Springs, AL. It's the Baptist girl's G.A. campsite. (They close for one week out of the summer and went rent it). We do a yearly fundraiser to finance the camp to make it as affordable as possible. ($35 per child for the week) Anyone interested in sending their children to a FUN Christian camp, contact me through e-mail and I will send you a camp brousure with more details. I love to get e-mail and would love to hear from some of the old classmates so drop me a line sometime.
