Tony's Story
Where to begin, after graduation I continued to work for my uncle at Bill's Tire Center in Pelzer. In may of 1986 I married Lisa Lusk ,whom I met at Career Center . We bought a little house in Belton and lived there for nine and a half years. In october 1989 we had our first son. Earlier that year I got a job at Amoco Performance Products in Greenville where I worked for about five years. In March of 1992 we had our second son. I went back to work for my uncle in about 1994. As the boys got bigger the house seemed to be getting smaller so we sold it and bought a house in Piedmont in 1996 where we currently live. I have always tried to be honest and tried to live as right as I knew how.I have a beautiful wife, two wonderful healthy boys, pretty good health,good job and so on. In about November of 2001 we got the shock of our lives, we found out Lisa was pregnant. Things were going so good...Expand for more
we thought and now we are going to be punished for something it seemed. To top that off her water broke early,the doctor put her in the hospital where she had to lay for five weeks and four days, at which time the doctors decided to do a 'c' section. The baby was still nine weeks early. A third son, premature,three pounds eight ounces,but so far healthy. We prayed constantly he would be healthy and GOD blessed us with a third healthy son. Life is still good after all. Trying to make a better living I took a job in Greenville as a mechanic. While working there I got a job at Michelin Tire at Donaldson Center. I guess I don't have a fairytale life but I wouldn't change a thing. I have a wonderful wife of twenty two years, so far, who just keeps getting better, three awsome sons who keep me always on alert, a job that I actually look forward to going to and still pretty good health.
