Tony's Story
Life
After High School I worked several different dead end jobs before realizing something needed to change.
I enlisted in the Army in 1986 and served as an M1 Main Battle Tank Crewman (Tanker, or DAT as some call us) in Alpha Company, 1st Battalion 66th Armored Regiment, 2nd Armored Division, Fort Hood, Texas. I had the opportunity to do a little traveling and met a lot of good people. During that period I spent a lot of time playing in that big sandbox called the desert as well as some other interesting places.
I met Barb about two weeks before leaving the Army in 1989. After leaving active duty I came back to Florida for a while and served in the U.S. Army Reserve and then the Florida National Guard for about 10 months or so before deciding to return to Texas to be with Barb and to finally complete my college education.
Once back in Texas I enrolled in college and joined the Texas National Guard, 49th Armored Division.
In 1993 Barb and I both graduated w/Honors from Central Texas College with Degrees in Computer Science, mine in Microcomputer Programming, hers in Business Programming.

3 Barb and I were married in Union, Kentucky at Big Bone Baptist Church where she was baptized.
Later that year we were wondering what we were going to do, where we were going to live, etc and Barb suggested we move to Florida. We relocated to Jacksonville and after a short time we both accepted positions with Barnett Technologies (Barnett Bank). Barb has now retired, I'm still with the bank (Bank of America) but my group was part of a technology outsourcing deal so I am still there, doing the same job I just have a different company writing the checks.
Barb and I have no children, but have 2 beautiful black Chow Chows named Kami and Marty, who we treat as children. (Update: Kami passed away December 28th 2004 and we lost Marty on September 09, 2007. Between the two of them we had 17 wonderful years and we miss them both everyday, always will.) R.I.P. Pookie and Marty Bear.
That's pretty much it in a nutshell. Pretty boring huh?
My hobbies include, but are definitely not limited to:
Computers
Sport Shooting (NRA Life Member)
Gun collecting (Military Firearms)
Riding motorcycles
