Tony's Story
Hi friends of '78,
Classmates.com finally got me to buy in with a Gold membership and I'm happy that I did. I have been able to catch up with some old friends and memories.
I am looking forward to chatting with a lot of you. Feel free to drop me a line and I'll be sending out messages too.
For those of you that lost track of me, or forgot who I am, I went to Saint Edward's elementary and North Junior High. At that time my name was Tony Roberto. In sophomore year, my last name changed to Jordan. Some of you might remember me as the only 'J' sitting in the homeroom of 'R'. BHS never changed by pre-arranged homerooms!

rate tournament circuits heavily from '70-80. Back in the 70's, karate was poked fun of by some and respected by others. I think that I had a positive impact with about 20 people during high school with regard to karate. Many of my BHS peers would show up at the karate school (dojo), say 'hi' to me and sign up. Some of them went on to become advanced students and I think one got his black belt too.
After graduating in May of '78, Patty Hill and I got married that December. We're coming up on our 30th Anniversary next month. Patty grew up on the South Side, BHS class of '78 too.
Life was hard being married at 18, 2 kids by the time we were 21, but we struggled through it and it's all good now.
Best wishes to all my '78 colleagues,
Tony.
