Tony's Story
Life
After high school, I went to work as a stock boy for Wings West Airlines in Jan '85. I worked my way up to Director of the Material department, with a staff of 50 operating in LA, SF, and SLO.
Wings West was later purchased by American Airlines, so I ended up working for American until 1992. After the big California gun ban, I had enough of that, and packed up my toys and went to work for Fairchild Aircraft in San Antonio. They started going down the tubes, so I left in 1997 and went to work for NORDAM in Tulsa, OK where we manufacture aircraft windows. I'm still here.
In 1999 I started my own custom firearms manufacturing business known as Tromix. I built a cult like...Expand for more
following for my AR-15 "SledgeHammer" assault rifles. The Tromix weapon systems were featured in the April issue of Gun world magaine in 2001, again in 2002, and also in The Accurate Rifle in 2002. I also manufacture machine guns and silencers for law enforcement use as well. As far as guns go, I have quite an assortment these days including my favorite belt fed M-60 general purpose machine gun. After working at NORDAM, I usually spend the evenings and weekends tinkering around with new firearms designs and build lots of toys for personal enjoyment. There is nothing more invigorating then hoisting a big belt fed machine gun to your shoulder and ripping through a 200 round belt.
