Tony's Story
Life
In my late teens I started developing an intense love for songwriting. Soon after I picked up the acoustic for the first time I started playing around with chord progressions and humming to them. When I was 18 I got my first multi-track recorder and started writing and recording tunes immediately. The first 100 or so really sucked, probably because I had as many crappy musical influences as good ones.
A small independent record company that had far more promises than actions signed me when I was 21. Over time I realized these guys werenÂt going to do anything with my music except hold the publishing on every song that IÂd send them. I chose to stop writing and ride out the contract. e since had a series of operations over the last few years because of various complications. At the end of 2005 I realized I had to get back on the horse and put together a CD despite my damn problems. It took nearly a year but I did it.
My debut CD is called ÂPurple in the Shadows and is available for sale on my website TRSCOTT.com, Amazon.com, CDBaby.com, itunes.com and many other online music shops. IÂd like to thank all of my friends and listeners for giving me such kind and persistent encouragement and support.
Although Id love to sell a few CDs, I hope to ultimately make my living by licensing my music to film and TV and maybe even by scoring a film some time in the future. IÂve also been working towards playing live again and have recently started a band. So thank you so much for visiting my classmates page and I hope you'll consider listening to my unconventional songs of aliens, serial killers and corrupt politicians. Just go to trscott.com or myspace.com/trandolphscott to listen for free.
Please also feel free to send me an email by hitting the "Contact T by E" button on the bottom of the main page on my website. Thanks for reading this and I hope all visitors here are doing well and following their dreams.
