Tory's Story
After getting my degree as a Veterinary Technician from VTC in 1997, I worked as a Vet Tech in Vermont until 1999. In 1999, my family moved to Pennsylvania and we're still here. In 2001, my health forced me to retire from being a Vet Tech but I still work with animals. In 2004, my family started our own Arabian horse & Sport Pony farm, which I manage. 2009 marks the year I became a published author in non-fiction as a short story I wrote about my son is being published in a well known main stream anthology in September! Life keeps throwing surprises and I'm enjoying every minute of it despite the on-going health issues.
Two of my big dreams in life have come true: to raise horses and be published! Both came about in unexpected ways and though the road has been rocky it's been a blast of a trip and I wouldn't change a thing.
