Tory's Story
Life
Graduate of Georgia Tech, electrical engineering 1977. After graduating from Tech I worked for the Boeing Company in Seattle for 2 years and was hired by Piedmont Airlines as a pilot in 1982. Piedmont merged with US Air in 1989 and today I am based in Philadelphia where I fly the Boeing 757 and 767 both domestically and internationally. I especially like flying the North Atlantic which is a childhood dream come true. Watching the sun rise at 30 degrees west longitude is amazing. . Live in Florida near St. Augustine and also near Ocean City, Maryland. Hard to believe it has been almost 35 years since we graduated from SWD !!!! If anyone knows Joe Wheeler's contact information who graduated in our class I'd appreciate you letting me know about where he is. We used to fly together and lost touch and I'd like to get back in touch with him. Does anyone have any information on some of our teachers like Miss Farmer (9th and 10th grade English) who I truly respected and admired and Miss Overton (Math), Mr. Hightower (12th grade English) ?
