Tracey's Story
My story - as per a page in our yearbook, I was going to be successful, marry Brian, and buy a corvette...
Brian and I married in July of 1993 and had our first of three, Brittney Alyce, in June of 1994. We then expanded our crew to four in 1996 with the addition of our very active Courtney Ann in November. We moved from Delco in December 1997 to Chester County where we currently reside. In 2001, Easter Sunday to be exact, we were blessed with our son (Brian look-a-like) Brandon Thomas. I am extremely proud of all my children!
We currently have 1 dog, 4 indoor fish, 1 fish in our outside pond, and 1 crayfish which is someday Brian hopes to call dinner. (Ha!) I am currently working for a marketing & PR firm and also have my own business doing bookkeeping for small businesses. I enjoy sports as a spectator and enjoy I like to decorate custom cakes as a hobby. Brian and I are still homebodies and ventured on our first vacation since our honeymoon without our children in 2006 when we enjoyed a short cruise to St. John¿s Canada for our 13th wedding anniversary.
Life for me is always busy and I feel like the past 20 years have flown by in the blink of an eye. I have not kept in touch with anyone from my youth and only recently had a very harsh wake up call, realizing I have missed out on a lot not keeping in contact with anyone.
I worked in Media, PA for Keystone Care Corporation from 1990 to 1998. I then took some time off from a full-time job to raise the kids and worked only part time jobs for the next 6 years. I continued to do bookkeeping and for about 5 years drove school bus for Avon Grove School District. I went back to being a full-time working mom in 2004. I worked at our church as the acting Office Manager and in 2006 went to work for IMPACT Marketing ...Expand for more
& PR, Inc. I love my job as the Office Manager, I am the number crunching bookkeeper, web-keeper and add creative input whenever needed.
The kids are all growing up so fast, as of today, November 15, 2008, Brittney is now 14 and a freshman in high school enjoying sports (soccer, volleyball, swimming, softball), social networking, texting (constantly), chillin' with her friends and has been on the Honor Roll for the past 9 semesters. Brittney also traveled to Europe this summer with People to People and has really got the bug for traveling abroad! Courtney will be 12 in just 1 week and in the 6th grade. She is the Drama Queen of the family. She loves dance, cheer, singing, wants to get into acting and modeling, plays the oboe, clarinet and piano, loves being goofy, and hangin' with her peeps! Brandon is 7 and loves sports including soccer, baseball, and especially golf! He loves to ride his ATV and his grandmother¿s golf cart. He enjoys helping his grandfather with the yard work and his dad with the handiwork. If anyone loses anything in the house, we just ask Brandon if he¿s seen it and probably about 95% of the time he knows exactly where it is.
Brian and I remain happily married. He drives the little sports car, I drive the mini van. He is active in the local fire department as a volunteer firefighter. He was on several committees this year and has been recognized for his outstanding achievement as Fire Prevention Officer in 2007. He works for the same company since 1990 and can't wait for the day that his family (us) gives up the fight to move to another location. We have the house, the dog, the kids, the yard - what more could we ask for! His response to that is a town with an actual store you can shop at.
Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!
