Tracey's Story
Life
I have been happily married for almost 16 years now,and my husband Charles Wright has been in the Marine Corps for 15 years. We have 2 daughters, Courtney is 15, and Amber is 13. We were stationed at Cherry Point, NC, from 1993-1998. Then we moved to Okinawa, Japan. We were there from 1998-2001. While there, we got the chance to vacation in Hawaii twice. After that we went back to Cherry Point, NC from 2001-2004. I was a substitute teacher there for elementary students and loved it. In May 2004 we moved to Ljubljana, Slovenia. rds at the embassy there. We loved Slovenia and had the chance to visit Venice, Rome, Germany, Austria, and London while living in Slovenia. We consider ourselves lucky to have been able to visit so many wonderful places. In January 2006, we moved to Harare, Zimbabwe, which is where we are now. Charles is the Detachment Commander for the marines at the embassy here as well. We are due to leave Zimbabwe in June 2007. I am ready to get back to the states. We aren't liking Zimbabwe, and miss the states. We are going back to Cherry Point, NC after our tour here. I hope this finds everyone happy and well!
