Tracy's Story
Life
I am newly married and have two children from my previous marriage. My daughter is 10 years old and my son is now 9. We live in the Sacramento area (El Dorado Hills) and have been here for about 7 years now. I got married in March 2008 to the absolute love of my life.
College
I earned an AS degree in Laboratory Science from the Community College of the Air Force. I went on to get a BS in the same field from Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey. I attended Lincoln Law School in Sacramento and graduated in 2005 earning a JD.
Workplace
While in the Air Force, I was trained to be a Medical Laboratory Technician. I did this for 10 years in the service and got out to stay home and raise my kids. Workers' Compensation firm in Sacramento. This type of law was very mundane so I moved on to the Department of Corrections working on the Court Compliance Legal Team representing the state against class action lawsuits by inmates. I decided after several years of working in law that it really wasn't something I was interested in spending the rest of my life doing so now I have returned to the medical field and I am the Laboratory Operations Manager at Marshall Medical Center in Placerville, CA.
Military
I joined the Air Force in 1992 and became a Medical Laboratory Technician. I spent most of my time on the East coast being stationed in Maryland, North Carolina and New Jersey before finally getting orders back to Northern California to Travis Air Force Base in 2001. I got out of the service to raise my kids and have been living in the Sacramento area ever since.
