Tracy's Story

HI All, Life has been busy after HS, as I am sure it has been for all of us. Here is the outline: 1984-1990 - Married Tony Keshel, had 2 daughters (Katie (24) and Krissy (20)), completed my BS-Nursing at UT-Austin, worked, moved around a lot (Tony was a Ranger and then a pilot in the Army - Georgia, Alabama, Texas). 1991-1999 - Divorced Tony, moved back to Milwaukee, worked at Columbia Hospital, remarried (Jerry), had 2 sons (Tyler (14), Trevor (12)). 1999-2001 - Finished law school, worked at a couple of firms, divorced again. 2003-now - Remarried (Rick), quit working, had two more sons (Ian and Evan - twins (3)). Rick is a cardiologist out here in Waukesha. We live in Dousman but are building a house in Wales (should be done late this year). Rick has two kids from previous marriage (Cameron (17), Carlie (9) - adopted from China), his first wife is deceased. Stay at home mom for first time in life - enjoying it. Will get back into it when twins are older. Busy with family, politics (Democrat), community, friends. Katie graduated from Whitewater, married (Sam)with one daughter, Haley (yep - I'm a grandma!). They live in Sussex. Krissy lives with ex - still finding herself, havin fun. Tyler - freshman at Kettle Moraine HS, good student, plays hockey and lacrosse. Trevor - 7th grader at Kettle Moraine MS, good student, plays football and baseball. Ian and Evan - turn 4 in Feb.. Lots of fun - very active and busy (at pre-school). Carlie - 3rd grader at Wales Elem., some delays and issues related to adoption / orphanage in China, tries her best. Cameron - lives with Rick's mom, junior at Hamilton (Milw). ...Expand for more
Rick and I like to travel (with and without kids)- Europe, Hawaii, NY, DC, San Fransisco, Canada, and more. This spring break - Disney for the little ones. We like to get downtown as much as possible - dinner with friends, shows, other events. We also have people over often(when kids are not taking over the house with friends!). Busy with kids and their athletic events. Our sitters love us... It is really tough with all these kids and his busy practice but we make it work. I am still pretty liberal and free-thinking. I think I am the only liberal democrat in the area (not really - I have founda few). Happy to have Bush/Cheney out and Obama/Biden in - really, really happy. Still think that peace and love can change the world (but became a lawyer and also figured out that time, hard work, and money - along with persuasion gets it done). I look back fondly to growing up in Milwaukee and going to Grandview, Burroughs, and Vincent. People out here can't beleive I am not weird or a loser for growing up in Milwaukee and attending MPS - so much narrow-mindedness. I think I had the best education. Wish I had a bit more guidance - God we really did figure it all out by our selves didn't we? Maybe could have avoided a few pitfalls - but definitely learned and moved on. Of course, like everyone, I wish I "knew then what I know now" - but such is life, it tends to work itself out. The big stuff is all good - husband, family, health, .... Wish a few things were different - but those things are out of my control so gotta live with 'em. Hope this finds everyone happy and healthy. Look forward to seeing everyone. Peace. Tracy
