Life I am the mother of two boys, Nicolas and Tyler, who are the light of my life!! I always had big dreams of moving out of Michigan, however, that never quite seemed to pan out and here I am still in Davison! After graduating from college, I worked as a Substance Abuse Therapist for several years at Insight Recovery Center and Genesys Center for Addiction Treatment. A challenging job to say the least! After that I was a stay at home mom for 2 1/2 years. That was definately the best job I ever had! However, divorce happens, and it was back to an office for me! I then went back to work as a counselor at REACH Shelter for Runaways in Flint. I now work for the State of Michigan as a Protective Services Worker. It is generally a thankless job, as you can imagine, but just when you are ready to chuck it, something happens that makes you feel like you actually make a difference. I am currently in the process of getting used to the idea of being single again. Divorce is never fun, but it certainly helps you build character and in the end, I believe I will become a wiser, better person because of it. School Would I do it again? No way. I got through it once with the majority of my mental health intact. That is good enough for me.... The one thing I really remember about high school was thinking "She/he really can't think they are that great..." Enough said.
