Wow - I can't believe we've been out of high school for 20 years now (May 2008)! In many ways, time has flown by. After high school, I went to UNT for several years and co-op'ed at IBM. I'm embarassed to say that I never got my degree though. The draw of a regular paycheck was too much for me, I guess. I've had some pretty good jobs though considering. I worked for IBM for 4 years, for the Annuity Board of the Southern Baptist Convention for a short while, McKinsey for a short while and then Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) for almost 10 years. I was a Project Manager at Accenture and travelled globally. I enjoyed much of it at the time, but wouldn't do it again at this point in my life! I met my husband, Michael, through a mutual friend in April 1998 but we didn't really start dating until December 1998. He also worked for Accenture (and still does) but we wouldn't have met through work since we worked in completely different organizations. He proposed to me in December 1999 at the top of the UT tower in Austin (huge Longhorn fan) and we got married in December 2000.
