Who was I then? A painfully shy young woman who loved to sing. I was in Madrigals and Choir. I worked backstage in Drama. Art was a great love but I was inhibited and found it difficult to express myself except when I was painting sets for the plays. Some of my best friends were Ann Matchinske, Kris Skelly, Rita Campbell and Stephen Parker whom I dated for about 5 years.
People saw me as shy, silly, a bit goofy and ditzy. At the 20th reunion when I told someone I was working on a PhD in History at UCSD their jaw dropped, Much has changed.
