Tracy's Story
Life
After school, I got married right away. I did a variety of jobs for several years. After my divorce I decided I wanted to go back to school and get my BA. For 12 years I worked for a prosectuting attorney, investigating domestic violence crimes. It was one of the most rewarding jobs I've ever had. I decided I needed to move on and try something new, so now I am a social worker for the State of Washington and love that just as much. high school. My daughter has a little girl (I'm a grandma!). My older son is living and working in Tacoma and he and his fiance are expecting their first child. My 16 year old goes to the Tacoma School of the Arts. I have a home in Tacoma and live there with my boyfriend/partner. He taught at-risk youth multi-media for several years but is now just concentrating on his small business doing video/audio/graphics and editing. He recently made his first film and has entered into the Seattle International Film Festival. He grew up in Seattle as well and graduated from Franklin High School in 1979.
