Tracy's Story
2008: Single Life after 24 years in a relationship is very cool at this age! Dating is fun, fascinating. Now...know what I want, what to compromise on, what to hold fast to. Wisdom of the ages comes into play. Very different from late teens and twenties! And, having a very amicable divorce makes all the difference in the world. I really don't "get" why acrimony is the norm not the exception, but 'it is what it is'.
I would love to hear from classmates and friends from my youth. Where are you - Mark Needham, Kim Moore, Sharon Griffith, Cheryl Burkett, Ebi, and so many more who have yet to sign on board?
From way back when:
School
After moving to San Francisco in 1978 I attended Drew College Preparatory for the final two years of high school. There I met and spent time with the nicest, warmest people I've ever had the pleasure of being with in my life. essant need to travel abroad. Beginning several years ago, my family started spending a month each summer in a foreign country in a rented apartment. I strongly recommend travel outside the United States as a way of broadening our view of the world at large and acquiring a deeper appreciation for that which we have and hold dear....and sometimes take for granted. Particular favorites are Munich, Salzburg, Barcelona, Hamilton Island/Great Barrier Reef, and my absolute favorites: Hong Kong & Japan. Both are beautiful and exciting cities with amazing cultures!
College
San Francisco State University.
Little sister in the Sigma Phi Epsilon (Sig-Eps) fraternity. Dorm living in room 1227 (with a pleasant, albeit distant view of the Ocean) of Verducci Hall with a roomie on the girls basketball team (where are you Sharon Hightower?!). Road trips to away games, parties, sunbathing on the lawn & rollerskating through the halls of the dorm and in the quad. Memories to last a lifetime and pass on. It doesn't seem that long ago as I'm still of a mind to go play rather than do the "grown up" thing!
