Travis's Story
Travis Blair is a 5th generation Texan named after the commander of the Alamo. He worked in the movie and theatre business for 30 years (AMC, United Artists, New World Pictures, Columbia, Orion, and Artisan Entertainment) before turning to poetry writing in 2001. He has one book of poetry published, Train to Chihuahua and Other Poems of Mexico (Old Seventy Creek Press, 2008) - a collection of 50 poems about his adventures south of the border. His poetry also appears in Red Fez, Yellow Mama, Cause & Effect, Gutter Eloquence, Texas Poetry Calendar, the Red River Review, and several other literary publications.

pus in Arlington where he earned his B.A. degree in English Literature. His two daughters and five grandchildren also live in Arlington. He is a member of the Dallas Poets Community, the Writer's League of Texas, and often reads his poetry in Dallas, Arlington, Fort Worth and as far away as Taos, New Mexico and Manhattan, New York.
His work can be read online at AllPoetry.com under the names of Rollingstone and Cisco Kid, on MySpace under the name of Travis B Poet, and on Face Book. He occasionally writes short stories and travel reviews.
Travis' other loves are traveling (frequently to Mexico, New Orleans, and New York City), massages, mimosas, and movies.
