Travis's Story
Life
Well now that I am back from Iraq I moved over to Seattle and makin' pretty good over here. Road trips are awesome and I should try and do one of those a year. I like to try and stay outdoors cause that seems to be where all the fun is for me.
School
School was a joke as far as learning went. I just went to school to hang out. I had fun though. I might have been somewhat the runt in our class, but someone has to play the role.
College
Well I never went to a four year school, but I did get a degree to help me to my goal. I got an Archotecual drafting degree at SCC. It was a really fun course and I was able to get creative. There were many times I ran into others who went to Rogers. I never really stayed at the school long enough to make a life there. My life was outside of school.
Workplace
There is quite the list on this one. My best was working at Fed-EX though. I ...Expand for more
had a lot of fun with what I did and was good at what I did. Moving the cans on and off the trucks as they came in so the others could download the cans and get it on the plane. It was pretty much a party before and after work too.
Military
Well I signed that dotted line on January 27, 1998. I have 7 years in and a lot of experience with communications equipment. I have learned how to fix radios, intercom systems, telephone wire, computers, antennas, local area networks, and a few others. In the guard I have also been to two fires in Washington. And they have shipped me over to this wonderful shithole called Iraq. It has been a good experience and puts a new experience on things. It deffinatly makes you enjoy all that you have back home. And now I am going through my second year after actually entering Iraq on April 1, 2004. I don't regret it and I might be in for the full twenty.
