Treasa's Story
Life-update
August 2014--This is my last post on classmates, as there are other ways to contact me. It has been fun reading about my fellow Lancers. I look forward to hearing from you. My life is full with volunteering, golf, grands, and singing. Best to all of you.

Joy, of joys! Shelby Adele Treasa Skiles entered the world on Mon, April 15 2013. Weighing in at 6 lbs. 15 oz. Proud parents, Brian (#1 son) and Lee Skiles, big brother, Toby (2 1/2) and very proud grandparents--Mike and Treasa Skiles. It will be so much fun having a little girl near by to shower with Grandma love--the best love in the world. With the arrival of Shelby, the balance is now 3 girls and 2 boys.
October 7, 2011-We welcomed the newest member to the family Jackson (Jack) Ralph Skiles (Kevin's son) born this day 7 lbs 1 oz. Big sisters Olivia and Chloe are getting used to this new little guy. Parents Milly and Kevin are delighted and of course, grandparents, Mike and Treasa are excited to have one more little person to love. a to visit these precious little people often.Being a grandma is the best!
2010 brought the circle of life--the death of my father-in-law, Ralph Skiles (nearly 89), the marriage of nephew, Greg McCarty, marriage of son, Brian to Lee Miller, the birth of their son, Tobias Nicholas Hansen Skiles--the family continues to grow, as October 2011 will bring the birth of grandson number2 (Kevin's son) to join his sisters, Olivia and Chloe, in Mill Valley.
Mike hasn't retired yet, with no plans to do so in the near future. He also plays tennis and continues to run and train for long distance races. An injury has put me on the DL for a while and I can't wait to get back to running. I'm not crazy about being a gym rat while I rehab my injury.
All in all, life is good in San Diego.
June 2008 marked our 40th wedding anniversary, and we spent it in London attending the Wimbledon Tennis Championships.
7/1/08-Returned from 9 days in London. Saw tennis at Wimbledon--it was fabulous. Did all of the touristy stuff in London on the other days. London is a visitor friendly town.
