Trey's Story
Life
Hard to sum up the past 20 years in 4,000 characters or less, particularly without sounding like either a liar or an ass. I'll list the good, and ignore the bad (there are too many of those to list anyway.) I left Parkway after the 10th grade (hated to leave) and went to school in Florida (with Courtney Cox strangely enough). My mom remarried, yet again, and my name was changed, yet again (first I was ÂDuckÂ, then ÂWilliford and then ÂAlderman  itÂs a wonder I know who I am  but my kids are sure glad they didnÂt end up as baby ÂDucks :>). I won the Grand National karate championships at 18 (working out my frustrations, I guess), and met my wife in the crowd during the photo shoot afterwards, where she was on vacation just prior to competing in the Ms. Teen USA Pageant (Yes, I know, sounds like bulls__t, but its true). We married young (she was 16 and I was 18). I then earned a law degree (but never sat for the bar) and became a real estate developer (a law degree AND a developer-my momÂs so embarrassed she tells everyone IÂm a pimp). I had some ups and downs, but eventually got it right, put up a lot of developments, and made an embarrassing amount of money that we couldnÂt spend if we tried (though my wife, mom and extended family sure try their best). Used to think that making tons of money was a measure of my success but now IÂm sure my best accomplishment is my four girls, who are all relatively well adjusted (yes, I know, it sounds ...Expand for more
hokey, but thatÂs what combining reminiscing and middle age will do for you). My girls are ages 4, 9, 10 and 15 and are all cheerleaders no less. My oldest is on a national championship cheer team and she is a freshman cheerleader in high school (which is strange, considering that I wasnÂt exactly ÂMr. Popularity myself, and was (and am) damn ugly to boot. It must come from their mother's side.) Earned my pilots license at 18, and am the recent proud parent of a Citation II to go along with my other decadent big-boy toys (I wonÂt tell you what my wife says they are a substitute for: besides  sheÂs lying anyway, so donÂt listen to her.) We like to travel a lot, especially weekend trips to NY, LA, LV, Mexico, Bahamas, etc., and now that we have the Citation we will spend a lot more time at it. I can be in the Bahamas before I would normally clear security at the airport! Now THATÂS the way to travel. At Parkway I used to hang around with Darren Wessinger, Kevin Kipp, Randy Curran, Dee Dee Churchwell, Suzy Hughes, Cindy Duncan, Lisa Brunson and anyone else who would put up with me (which was asking a lot, I know). I played football (and got me a nice broken arm from Brett Exford  thanks Brett) and remember most of you guys from the team (Terry, Tommy, Richard, Ron and all you guys). I had a blast at Elm Grove and Parkfield. Afternoon football games, hanging out, roaming the neighborhood. Where did 20 years (and a lot of my hair) go? I want them both back!
