Trisha's Story
Since my graduation from Valley High in 1974, I attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, (Now called Brigham Young University-Idaho). I then went on to graduate from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. I graduated in Social Work. I met my husband, David Sloan at BYU. We married in the Logan, UT LDS temple. He finished his PhD. in Chemical Engineering at BYU, and we moved out to Connecticut for employment at Pratt and Whitney Technologies, where he worked for 9 years before moving on to Alstom Power Technologies, where he currently works. fe Naomi is expecting our fourth grandchild. They are in graduate school at the University of Virginia. We have twin daughters one is completing a post do at Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN, and the other is married and teaches biology part-time for Utah State, and is expecting her second child. We have another daughter at BYU- completing a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and one at another at BYU finishing her undergrad in public health and applying for grad school. We have no money, it all goes to our kid's education! I work as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and run an autism diagnosis program.
