Life
My Spouse
I met my future bride (Linda Sumrall-class of 70) through a mutal friend (Janet Thornburg). I was a Sophomore at Texas A&M and came home for a weekend to see my little brother Ben (also class of 70) in the school musical "South Pacific". I had a date with Janet and we doubled with Linda and her date to see the play. I knew from that very first night that we would spend the rest of our lives together.

We have 5 cats.

My Job
I retired a LtCol from the United States Marine Corps in Sept 2000 after 28 years of service. (I entered as a commissioned officer upon graduation from Texas A&M in 1972) I am now a GS-13 serving with the II Marine Expeditionary Force, USMC at Camp LeJeune, NC. I am principally a trainer who trains and certifies our Marine Expeditionary Units from the east coast that are forward deployed aboard US Navy amphibious ships as contingency forces.
