Tryst's Story

Life The hurricane that was my youth turned into a roller coaster during the middle of my life and I have enjoyed the ride (for the most part) and look forward to the next 50 years. Yes, I know that I will be 53 in August. I have three children and two grand daugthers. We have become a multi-cultural family , with my oldest son (28) living in Ireland with his Irish wife and two daugthers, ages 2 yrs and two months. In November, Mary and I will be celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary. My other children, Brooke 22 and Jakob, 25, still live at home. I don't expect the nest to be empty for a while. I moved from Elgin in 2003 and now live in suburban Philadelphia. However, I will never stop being a Bears fan or lose my appreciation for Chicago-style pizza. I have worked for engineering firms and technical associations for the last 25 years and now am working for a 50-person engineering firm in Malvern, PA. my math scores?). I have used my journalism background to help engineers communicate with the outside world and translate their services into benefits for their clients. I would like to hear from other classmates and see what they have done on their journey. School I would never kiss and tell, but there were several girls who made my heart rush, but too often the feeling wasn't mutual. Coach Johnston and Mr. Alft were the teachers who inspired me the most. Mrs. Kuntzleman left a lasting impression on my dream to write. The craziest memory (names will be left out to protect the guilty) was a party a few of the boys attended in Wayne where a cake pan filled with a certain herb was confiscated for a school science project. That same weekend a couple of the basketball players were suspended for being at a party where alocohol was served. I remember Coach Johnston telling the wrestlers at Monday practice that he didn't even want to ask where we had been on Saturday night.
