Robyn's Story
Life
Life is GREAT!! I have been married for over 20 years and we three children Our oldest daughter is in her second year of college. We also have a 11 year old daughter and we had a SURPRISE four years ago and we had a son. I am a manager of an Accounting office for the past 13 years in the burbs of Atlanta. Prior to that I graduated with a BS in Hospitality Management from Florida Int'l University in Miami. I worked for Hampton Inn hotels for ten years, which got old. Hotel Management requires long hours and doesn't fit in with raising a family. I guess you can classify me as your typical soccer mom with a Mini Van. Our two oldest girls have been into a bunch of different sports. Now as we get older, we will have to be involved in our youngest child's sports....Expand for more
My husband and I always kid around that our son's friends will think we are his grandparents in ten years. Having a child at 40 was a real shocker but we are so glad we have him!!!
We left So. Florida in 1993 and moved to Atlanta. We thought we would have a better climate. I think the summers are much hotter here than in So. Florida. We visit to So. Florida once in a while to see my parents. It has really changed, mostly for the worse. The beach area is much better than what I remembered growing up. Atlanta has also changed in 15 years we have been here. Everyone heard how great Atlanta was and moved here. The once small town we lived in has grown into a huge city. So much for raising a family in a small town!
Life is great for us and we couldn't ask for more!
