Vestula's Story
My high schools years were much less than I had hoped for myself. Phoenix Union had little that it would offer me. I completed requirements for graduation in the College Preparatory curriculum in 3-1/2 years and began matriculating at Phoenix College. I completed an Associate of Arts degree 2 years later and transferred to Arizona State University. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree from that university in January of 1967. Four years later I earned a Master of Arts degree from Northern Arizona University.

joyed a lengthy career as an educator.
I have realized many of my childhood dreams, but not all. I have made trips to South and Central America, Europe, North Africa, and many parts of the United States. I have spent 5 years researching my genealogy which has been fascinating. I served in numerous leadership capacities in the local, state, and national teachers' professional organization. It was through this Association that I met and ultimately married my now ex-husband. I still have a list of places that I want to visit, people that I would love to meet, and things about which I would still like to learn.
I have been blessed and highly favored by God Almighty through His Son, Jesus Christ.
