Bev's Story
A few years after high school I moved with my family to Lincoln, Nebraska. Due to a job transfer I spent a year in the Napa Valley followed by four years in Sacramento as Director of Project Accounting for an international construction management firm. After my Mom had several strokes I decided my place was back in the midwest and have been back here in Lincoln since 1991.
I met and married my husband, Jim, just over five years ago (my first marriage, his second). I inherited a stepson and two years ago became a grandmother.

ctor of Mental Health Services. We are the only private acute mental health facility in our region - it's a big program that cares for patients as young as 3 years old and as old as 98.
I was super shy in high school so probably alot of classmates won't remember me; nobody here in Nebraska believes it when I say I used to be so shy! Somewhere along the way I found my "on" switch, Jim is wondering where the "off" switch is.
A lot of my time is spent helping my mom care for my dad who has Alzheimer's. I also read, garden, and am writing a cookbook that I may never finish but am having fun working on.
