Tyra's Story
Life
Shortly after graduating from Green Oaks Laboratory High School in 1992, I attended Southern University A&M College- Shreveport then I transferred in the Spring of 1994 to Southern University A&M College- Baton Rouge where I graduated with my Bachlors of Science in Social Work. In 1999 I moved back to Shreveport. I worked for Community Support Programs, Ticketmasters and C-Barc as well as take Sign Language classes at VoTech. Then in 2003 I decided I needed a change. since September '04, but I'm usually in Shreveport every 3 months visiting. I work as a casemanager for Mental Health for the City of Virginia Beach. I'm a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church where I'm apart of two ministries. I'm an Usher/Greeter and dance with the Young Women's Praise Dance . There are a few people from Shreveport who also are members of my church and a lot of Shreveportinians throughtout the seven citys of Portsmouth, Norfolk, Hampton, Suffolk, Virginian Beach, Newport News, and Chesapeake who come together on different events to have fun (Louisiana Network) so if you are in the area give me a call 318 - 773 - 5851.
