Life
I am divorced but now in a serious long-term relationship and have a son who is 20 years old. I currently reside in Birmingham and have been here for 12 years now. I was diagnosed with breast cancer December 27th, 2006. After surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and a respite, it was discovered that the cancer had metastasized to my bones. ke a weaker form of chemo once a month, but I'm doing great in spite of that.
Now, instead of worrying about the future, I just enjoy each day as it comes and appreciate all the gifts the days bring me. Things that seem insignificant to those around me are some of the biggest things to me. Life-altering events have a way of doing that for you. I hope you all are enjoying the gifts that each new day brings! Stop to appreciate the little things...they may never come again!
